Austin Home Staging Benefits Renters
Why live in a tiny, expensive apartment when you can be living in a beautiful, large home for much less?
To qualify, you need enough attractive furniture and furnishings to adequately fill out one of our properties, you have to be able and willing to comply with our home staging program and we will conduct a credit and background check.
Austin Home Staging is the perfect answer for occupants, who we call Resident Stagers (some call them home managers or home tenders), to live in an upscale home without the upscale cost. Our monthly participation fee is typically less than the cost of a standard lease on a tiny apartment and there are no long-term leases to sign. In fact, you can live in our properties on a month-to-month basis until the house is sold. You won’t believe the feeling of “house-sitting” in one of our fine homes.
We provide our service to singles, couples and families, alike. We can accommodate placement in most neighborhoods throughout the city. To be successful in the program, you must have enough nice furniture, be tidy and be willing to:
- Have the house on a lock-box and allow Realtor showings 7 days a week, from apprx. 8 am to 8 pm (they will phone you in advance)
- Pay for utilities, yard, and pool/spa maintenance
- Keep the home tidy and presentable at all times
- Be willing to leave the home during Realtor showings, whenever possible
- Accept and implement Austin Home Staging’s decorator advice when necessary
- Take great care of the home as if it were your own
- Carry at least $300,000 of renter’s liability insurance
- Vacate the house when it sells upon 21 days advance notice (We do our best to immediately provide you with another luxury home to live in under the same program.)
